Ricotta Fudge, positioned within Atelier Emine's Crystal Gelato Couture series, is a top-handle mini bag design that stands out with its sculptural form language, dense crystal bead texture, and sophisticated carrying ergonomics.
The bag body is entirely handcrafted by knitting 8 mm standard round cut optical crystal beads using high-strength monofilament fishing line. Thanks to the homogeneous arrangement of the crystals, a continuous refraction of light is achieved across the surface, while the bead density ensures the bag gains a balanced structure that is self-supporting.
The body is constructed based on a soft cubic form. This form offers a sculptural stance when carried by hand and maximizes efficiency in internal volume. The crystal bead top-handle, located on the upper part, is designed integrally with the body and is optimized for weight distribution and ergonomics when carried by hand.
The product features an open top structure that closes naturally due to the weight and balanced form of the crystal beadwork, without the use of a closing mechanism. This choice supports the minimal and couture character of the design, providing aesthetic integrity without disrupting the crystal surface continuity.
