Budino Argilla is a design included in Atelier Emine’s Crystal Gelato Couture collection; approached with a single-piece couture approach, offering a sculptural fusion of textile and crystal craftsmanship as a top-handle pouch bag design.
The outer surface of the bag is entirely handcrafted by utilizing a multi-layered lattice weave technique with 8 mm standard round-cut optical grade crystal beads threaded through high-strength monofilament thread. The crystals are placed at controlled intervals across the surface, intensifying light reflections at certain points to create a sense of depth.
The crystal weave is designed to envelop the silky-textured textile pouch form in the inner structure. The soft-textured fabric used in the inner pocket allows volume control thanks to its gathered upper structure; the crystal lattice serves as a protective and aesthetic structure defining the outer form of the bag.
Located at the top is a crystal weave top-handle grip, structured at an ergonomic diameter suitable for carrying by hand; the handle seamlessly integrates with the body, reinforcing the monoblock character of the design. The textile drawstrings on the sides facilitate the opening and closing of the pouch structure while being integrated as a decorative element into the form language.
Budino Argilla offers a fluid but controlled structure operating without a closure mechanism, working with the natural balance principle of the textile drawstring system and crystal lattice. This approach emphasizes both the couture and functional identity of the design.
