Conceptual & Technical Product Description
Budino Peperino is a design from Crystal Gelato Couture collection of Atelier Emine, approached with a single-piece couture approach, offering a sculptural unity of textile and crystal craftsmanship in the form of a top-handle pouch bag.
The exterior of the bag is entirely handcrafted using 8 mm standard round cut optical-grade crystal beads with high-strength monofilament fishing line, employing a multi-layer knitting technique. The crystals are placed at controlled intervals across the surface, concentrating light reflections at certain points, creating a sense of depth.
The crystal knit is designed to encase the silky-textured textile pouch within. The soft-textured fabric used in the inner pouch allows for volume control through a drawstring top structure, while the crystal cage acts as a protective and aesthetic structure defining the outer form of the bag.
The crystal knit top-handle handle positioned at the top is ergonomically structured suitable for hand-carrying; seamlessly integrating with the body, reinforcing the monoblock character of the design. The textile drawstrings on the sides allow the pouch structure to open and close, integrated into the form language as a decorative element.
Budino Peperino offers a fluid yet controlled structure, operating with the natural balance principle of the textile drawstring system and crystal cage without using a closing mechanism. This approach emphasizes both the couture and functional identity of the design.
