Budino Lattimo, featured in Atelier Emine's Crystal Gelato Couture collection, is a top-handle pouch bag design approached with a single-piece couture approach, offering a sculptural union of textile and crystal craftsmanship.
The bag's exterior surface is entirely handcrafted using a multi-layered lattice weaving technique with high-strength monofilament fishing line and 8 mm standard round cut optical grade crystal beads. Crystals are placed at controlled intervals across the surface; thus, light reflections concentrate at specific points, creating a depth perception.
The crystal weave is designed to envelop the silky-textured textile pouch form within the internal structure. The soft textile used in the inner pouch ensures volume control with its gathered top structure, while the crystal lattice serves as a protective and aesthetic structure defining the outer form of the bag.
The crystal woven top-handle grip, located at the top section, is configured with an ergonomic diameter suitable for hand-carrying; integrating seamlessly with the handle body and reinforcing the design's monobloc character. The textile drawstrings on the sides provide access to the pouch structure while being integrated into the form language as a decorative element.
