Sponges with a curved midsection allow for easier gripping.
The tip parts are slightly plump, so there is not much angle at the pointed section.
Extra care is required when applying under the eyes, around the eye sockets, or along the sides of the nose.
You can change the application method depending on which side of the sponge you hold.
If you are applying to the entire face, the wide base should be at the top; otherwise, the pointed tip should be at the top.
The pointed tip is for precise applications, while the wide end is for more intensive applications.
